SpinDynamica examples

There are a few places where you can find examples.

(1) Check in the posts of this website (visible on the front page, scrolling past).

(2) Check on the SpinDynamica forum (accessible from the bar).

(3) The ANZMAG series of SpinDynamica video tutorials.

(4) Older examples are available under the folders listed here:

SpinDynamica example files

The example files are provided as Mathematica notebooks (.nb) and also as PDFs, so that they may be examined without loading Mathematica (or viewed in your web browser).  It is suggested one starts by looking at the lower-level examples, and then progress on to the set of NMR simulation examples.

  • Low-level examples including spin operators, spin superoperators, bases, Euler angles, Wigner matrices, 3D axis systems, etc.
  • NMR examples including INEPT, INADEQUATE, spin echoes, inversion recovery, MAS spectra, etc.

The set of example files is under continuous development.

Examples are also continuously posted on the forum.

Low-level examples

These examples illustrate some of the lower-level routines used by SpinDynamica, useful for the development, understanding, and teaching of spin dynamical theory. The nb links lead to an executable mathematica notebook. The pdf links provide a non-executable file for viewing. Illustrative NMR examples

The nb links lead to an executable mathematica notebook. The pdf links provide a non-executable file for viewing.   Basic examples Illustrate basis techniques for simulating NMR properties, including trajectories of density operator components during a pulse sequence, ensemble averaging, plotting of pulse sequence performance, simulation and Fourier transformation of uniformly sampled NMR signals, and …
